Yet another system being built...

    Should look like this...except its gonna be done exactly when I get the case and can see whats gonna work as close to that spec as possible.

    And yes, I got the same case as the one I already have. Thought it would be a kick to have two modded cases of the same exact type :)
    Specs:
    1.2 gig 'Tualatin' P3 Processor
    Asus CUSL2-C 'Black Pearl' MoBo
    512 @ 133mghz SDRAM
    Asus V7100 Pro Pure 64 MB GeForce MX-400 Vidcard
    Soundcard...I dunno yet, got 4 speakers for this system.
    I might go for headphones and a modest soundcard on this one.
    Gonna pick up a CD-ROM and Floppy from somewhere.
    Got a switch that will allow me to switch the monitor between the two systems.

    neat. but the black is going to be cutout? how are the fans supposed to stay in place?

    when i get around to building a system, (which won't be for a long time) I'm going to buy a clear case.

    If I remember correctly the picture said that the fans would be mounted in Plexi Glass. So all the cut outs must have glass in them after they are cut?

    heh ... yea ... but they look sweet while playing them =)


    And yes .. they "NEED" the plexiglass, otherwise the cooling would be completely shot..

    Personally I'd rather be using my computer than painting it

    I kept track of how much gaming I did for a while.
    There was a time when it averaged about 25 hours a week of just Tribes :)
    Right now I'm keeping up three web sites, playing T-2 and Urban Terror Mod for Q-3, and posting on about 5 different forums :)
    The case mod thing just came about from seeing what other gamers I know have already done. Hell, the Virtual Hideout, at last look had about 185 pages with 5-6 diff cases per page on it.
    I believe WarSprite is in the middle of a mod right now. And the TNP guys are into it too :)

    Just a fad. I'm waiting for a pc thats a little box you wear in a fanny pack, and just put on the 'virtual goggles' like in 'Johnny Mmemonic'
