    Mannie & Otto,
    Bring yer favorite pillow :) and crash upstairs at my house. I finished the 'bonus room' up there into two bedrooms and a den, and we never use it :) You will have to use the facilitys downstairs tho :) So far as equipment... I have a couple of friends who are IT Guru's who are gonna provide. Now, at this point, I dont really know how many people are gonna show. Realistically, there could be 15-25 diff people fit in down here :)
    I am gonna run the electrical to the tables, I will find out from my 'Guru's' what else is necessary so far as hub's switchs, cable, etc. If lacking, I might put out the word for parts from participants hehehe.

    Queen/Half : My daughter is 11, and she has had her own 'puter for 3 years now. She will be participating in the LAN :) but I'm sure would love to 'hang out' with any kids of her own age who show up. My son is three, and will just be asking everyone who shows up if they want to play with whatever is his latest & greatest toy lol. There are plenty of things here for youngins to do. A playhouse, swingset, fort, tree-swing, bikes, toys, movies, etc...
    Bring yer kids and come on. This might be considered a more 'mature' sorta LAN in that it isnt gonna be a big beer bash in addition to gaming :)

    (Damn, half of the people who thought about coming just went OOPS! hehehe)

    That doesnt mean there wont be a few beers had during & after the gaming. Just that if you yack on my floor, Im gonna drag out the Rainbow and let you clean it up :)

    Personally I always yack in the toilet or on myself, never on the floor....

    My tower is a decent size and I would need a serious suit case if I was considering checking it onto a plane...its a monitor that I would need.

    But my wife wants to buy a nice expensive TV for christmas so I'll have to check on flight prices....I'd bring my wife, but she hates computers, and she doesn't like you guys all that much either since you are the reason I don't spend enough time with her :p

    Oh well, I'll look into it some more and maybe I can swing it.

    If Intrepid could be convinced to show up, you could drive here with him :) He lives in West Allis, which I am told is sorta like a suburb of Milwaukee :)

    Eh, 45 the problem is more like the time it will take rather than me being lonly :D

    I'd have to drive all weekend just to get here.

    As far as shipping my computer, I got to figure that would be expensive, and if i have to fly there too......

    Well, hmmmmmmm anyone got a couple hundred bucks I can have? (Notice I didn't say borrow) :D

    Anywho, I'll have to look into it.

    45 Is there an airport or a major city near you? And if so, would someone be able to run me around and shiat or would I have to rent a car?

    Rayzer, if you are that determined :) I can probably scare up a monitor for you to use. That way all you would need is yer tower mouse, keyboard and headphones. I live in Fayetteville, which is next door to Ft. Bragg. The nearest other large citys airport you could possibly fly into is Raleigh / Durham. If you do this, I am sure I can pick you up, and drive you around to whereever you might need to go. (Uh, NO stripclubs, I dont want the old lady giving me grief ) :)

    Thanks semi, I'll look into plane tickets and see what I can find......I also need to find out how to tell the wife. Think I could just go and send her an email once I get there? :D
