Requires you to register a plaync account if you don't already have one. (City of Heroes, Lineage 2, Guild Wars accounts all will work)

  10. Well you peaked my intrest a bit last night Arg, where can I sign up at for beta?

Also, gimmie some more info about the game. You said it was an mmo so I am assuming there are classes? Any basic insight as to what they are and what they do? You also said it being alot like daoc rvr, so will gank groups run rampant or is it gonna be massive zerg battles? Also, its cars? So are there like support classes or does everyone just go all out balls to the wall killing?

The Three Races of Auto Assault

At the time of Metamergence there are three major races in the world: Humans, Mutants, and Biomeks. The three races detest each other immensely, building upon centuries-long hatred for one another in endless battles in the Central Wastelands. Each of the races and classes have varying characteristics and abilities, though they often compliment one another in many ways.
    Humans

Under the organization of the Hestia Company, the remaining Humans spent many decades living underground in extensive Arks. Originally composed of the world's power elite society, Humans were responsible for the apocalyptic release of the world's cache of weapons of mass destruction in an attempt to cleanse the Earth of Contamination. The plan didn't exactly work, as Humans beginning to emerge from the Arks are discovering.

Humans regard Mutants and Biomeks as vile, disgusting deviants who revel in misshaping the glorious and perfect human form. The Humans' central belief is that true humanity must be preserved at any cost.

    Classes:

Commandos: Commandos can be found at the front lines of the Human domain, assaulting Biomek or Mutant strongholds or holding off massive attacks on Human defensive positions. The Commando's effect on the battlefield is not just a solitary physical one, but a more unified mental one as well - the Commando, through extensive training, can make others around him fight and perform at a higher level.

Unlike other classes that typically use lighter, lesser armored vehicles, Commandos get access to the heavy assault vehicles with a better variety of stronger weapon systems and military-grade armor and shielding. Also, like the Commando's ability to help other Human's morale and fighting ability, the Commando's access to new technology can be a boon for others - enhanced weapon and defensive systems can not only help the Commando, but his fellows as well.

Engineer: An Engineer is essential to the race's survival; they are the masters of practicality, unafraid to get their hands dirty, and able to fix anything that is broken, no matter how broken - or not. Engineers are curious by nature, and often draw inspiration from other race's inventions to enhance Human technology. Of course, other races aren't content to just give away their technology - it is usually gained in battle, and the Engineers are more than able to acquire these raw materials on their own.

To maintain their edge in combat, Humans modify their vehicles and add new types of technologies to various chassis. While Engineers play a critical role in this enhancement, they must also keep an eye out for their own safety. It's unlikely you'll find them leading a charge on an enemy stronghold, but they can hold their own in combat, making use of beam generators that have a variety of uses, from limiting vehicle performance, disrupting weapons fire, and can even destroy enemies entirely. Engineers can be formidable opponents.

Lieutenant: The Human Lieutenant receives some of the best training and support available to the race. Lieutenants are able to quickly create and execute plans of attack, helping coordinate allies and making them more effective on the battlefield. Their enhanced psychic abilities allow the Lieutenants to mentally stimulate allies and harm enemies using the power of the mind alone.

Lieutenants can also summon various forms of support. They can call on air support through helicopter gunships, coordinate artillery barrages, and lay down air-dropped defensive turrets at strategic locations. The Lieutenant can also utilize various forms of ground support, from miniature mercenary tanks to enhanced infantry battle armor.

Bounty Hunter: While they can move stealthily in the Contaminated wastelands with their light, fast vehicles, Bounty Hunters are expert warriors, able to carry out assassination and other destructive missions with ease. They have a number of offensive special abilities built around various energy and sonic weapons, and while the Bounty Hunter prefers solitude to company with others, they do not mind helping others out on the battlefield - especially when dealing with other races.

Of course, the core of the Bounty Hunter's abilities is stealth and infiltration. The Human's mastery of high-energy physics allows the Bounty Hunter to blind enemies with the light intensity of a small sun. Bounty Hunters can study opponents from afar through helidrones or other forms of reconnaissance data. They can also optically hide themselves with an invisibility shield, or with a more low-tech method of extensive smokescreens.

    Biomeks

The Biomeks have embraced technology and intellect to adapt for surviving the Contamination. Like the Mutants but in a different sense, they have little concern of the effects of the alien Contamination - but that's where the similarities end. Biomeks commonly replace vulnerable body parts with powerful Biomechanized prosthetics, a technology with roots hundreds of years old in their original military ancestors.

They hate the Humans for their treacherous and evil cleansing operations from the past. Their regard for Mutants is not much better. Killing Mutants was the reason the original Biomechanized Raider force was created. Their loathing of their ancestral enemies has not changed. Having survived the Betrayal at the hands of the Humans and centuries of battle against the Mutants, the leadership has decided that they are the only race advanced and efficient enough to dominate the planet.

Biomeks derive Power from masses of integrated circuitry and computer chips, boosting their efficiency and granting heroic abilities when combined with their vehicle systems. At the root of Biomek technology is nano-robotics, which supplies a number of additional offensive and defensive capabilities to Biomek vehicles.

    Classes:

MasterMind: MasterMinds are infinitely useful on the battlefield. They can determine the strengths and weaknesses of enemies, help other Biomeks fight better, increase communication range, and hack into opponent's computers and networked information systems.

Perhaps most dangerous of all, MasterMinds have the ability to create (from scrap) a robot army of various size and composure. These semi-intelligent robots act on orders of the MasterMind alone, and can take on any number of roles. They cannot think for themselves (unlike Biomeks), but will follow any order given - even to destroy themselves.

Constructor: Constructors are the ultimate scavengers, able to make use of any piece of scrap or junk, utilizing the Biomek's highly advanced nanotechnology. They can deconstruct objects on the molecular level, are able to create new useful items from random wreckage, create swarms of nanobots, and even repair destroyed vehicles in the field.

In combat, the Constructor can be a tough opponent to crack. Their manipulation of nanotechnology can give them various defensive bonuses, and Constructors can build and use offensive nanobots practically as needed. Constructors are also able to repair their allies during combat - a factor their opponents should well be aware of when engaging groups of Biomeks.

Terminator: Terminators are built for one purpose: destruction. They have access to heavy assault vehicles and have the ability to withstand enormous amounts of damage through special defensive abilities. For instance, Biomek Terminators can supercool their armor plating for fire protection and disperse energy from various forms of incoming attacks.

Aside from absorbing damage, Terminators are equally talented in dealing it out efficiently. Terminators can use a variety of nano-munitions (nanobot-modified ammunition) that can cause a great deal of destruction. Their machine heritage also allows Terminators to divert energy to strike targets more accurately and to properly coordinate attacks with allies.

Agent: Of course, to properly observe a potential threat the Agent must be able to avoid detection. Agents have a variety of abilities at their disposal to do so, such as the ability to use networked nanites to create an optical field around the Agents' vehicle, generating a near invisible effect. Agents have access to recon drones, which can be commanded to fly over dangerous locations and transmit data without putting the Agent in any additional danger.

The ability to destroy and survive destruction is just as important as the ability to stealthily observe. A Biomek Agent can conduct any number of nanite-driven attacks, which can blind drivers, corrode armor, or even slow down vehicles. Agents can even draw the energy from defeated enemies, store it in their vehicle, and then boost their own weapons with it when needed.

    Mutants

The Mutants revel in the bizarre environmental conditions of the planet with religious zeal. As a result, they have developed interesting talents using surviving mutated flora and fauna. Mutants infuse all of their technology with the "Blood" - the liquid form of pure Contamination essence.

When augmented with a strong energy source, trained Mutants can manipulate the ever present Contamination, performing awesomely powerful phase-shift effects. Out of thin air, these ghastly apparitions decimate any potential threat.

Mutants regard pure Humans as inherently evil heretics, as they so obviously resist the divine changes the Mutant people embrace and worship. As for the Biomeks, The Changed find their approach to evolution grossly sickening and harbor a deep resentment towards Biomeks as their historical oppressors.

    Classes:

Champion: Mutant Champions are adept at the use of various chassis and weapons, including heavy assault vehicles. However, Champions can also augment their skills with their inherent ability to manipulate the Contamination to their uses - to protect their own vehicles from contaminants, enhance munitions, and repair damage using the Contamination itself.

Furthermore, the Champions can draw upon what the Mutants call the Ursaic Spirit or "Ursa Temper" that harkens to their Champion Tribes, which gives them special abilities in combat that manifest in the form of a bear. For instance, an attack can appear in the form of a swipe from an enormous bear claw or a thunderous roar that increases battle morale.

Archon: Mutant Archons can be extremely useful in battle. Usually not found alone, an Archon can act as a religious centerpiece of any Mutant assault, able to single out opponents for rigorous attack, or to increase the passion of a defending ally to extraordinary heights. They do not hang back in battle, however - an Archon is a very capable opponent and should not be underestimated.

The greatest powers of the Archon lie in the Mutants' abilities to manipulate the Contaminated surroundings on a fundamental level. Archons can call upon phase-formed Contaminated creatures at will. These creatures follow the will of the Archon and can be very dangerous to vehicles and structures. Archons may even use the environment itself against an opponent, manipulating the atmosphere to create a massive shockwave.

Shaman: Mutants look for both spiritual and physical healing from to their Shamans, who utilize their bond with the "botanic spirit" to signify both personal growth and mutation. Through these bonds, Mutant Shamans can manipulate the Blood that is integrated into their vehicles, allowing many varieties of healing and protective shielding. Shamans can even restore destroyed vehicles back to operational status or transmute seemingly useless objects left in the wastelands into a commodity that can be used for barter.

The healing and defensive skills of the Shaman make them powerful enemies in battle. However, Shamans can manipulate the Contamination in other dangerous ways, giving their attacks a dazzling appearance. They possess the normal arrangement of Mutant offensive capabilities and also use their phaseforming ability to create devastating spiritual attacks and may spawn phase-formed mutated creatures at will.

Avenger: The Mutants who have sworn an oath to avenge the assassination of The Voice are called "Avengers." They are extremely dangerous opponents, able to use the Blood in any number of fashions, including generating explosive blasts to deflect heat damage and increasing a vehicle's overall speed as well as reducing an enemy's resistance to harm. Allies can benefit from having Avengers in their Convoys, increasing their combat abilities with negating the enemy's willpower. Powerful Avengers even have access to various Phaseform abilities.

Infused with the "Insecta Spirit," the Avengers' link with the Contaminated world allows them to summon various forms of mutated insects to do their bidding. A swarm of bugs can physically restrain vehicles, while Bloodflies can relay what they sense to a nearby Avenger - out of harm's way. Summoned carrion can reduce wasteland junk to usable Blood as a waste product, while an Avengers' vehicle can blend into the environment utilizing a form of biological camouflage.
