   No. The inside hard drive has to be IDE in order for that to work with the Micro Center enclosure.

   Got the venus and the 2.5" external cases last week. Put the 250g maxtor into the venus. Been working like a champ. Copied over a bunch of movies and been watching them at work on it great. Next plan to try and load Ubuntu and XP dual boot on it so I can boot from it on my work pc.
   
   The 2.5" is really nice and small. About same size as the WD Passport I would guess. Really good option if you want some extremely portable large space.
