    Damn Right.

    Remember the Alamo!!

  2. Actually I had a really great history teacher who put a perspictive on the Alamo and what really happened.

See the hole thing is that the Alamo guy held out against Santa Anna's army for 7 days (or what ever the number is, I don't remember). See but this in what the reality of the situation was. Santa Anna's army was huge. They were on foot. Big giant column, not very fast moving. So basically what happened was, they guys at the alamo saw Santa Anna'a army, 7 days later they had all arrived. Sanata Anna attacked, and in an hour or two it was all over. :(

Napolean used a different strat, he didn't march in a huge long column, he split his forces into fighting cubes who would march to the sides of eachother as well as in front and in back, this way he could bring all his forces to bear a day or two ahead of the other generals. Not bad for a short dude.

  3. Ok, you want crazy stories? Let me tell you the story of my Great Grandfather.

He was this huge Cossack guy, who lived during the Bolshevik revolution in Russia (well, he lived in the Ukraine, but all the same). Like I said, he was a BIG guy, 6 feet tall, 300 pounds, all muscle.

Anyways, him and a bunch of his buddies were out drinking one night, when one of my Great Grandfathers friends said:

"I bet you can't pick up a horse with a man sitting on it."

Well, technically, thats not what he said cause they were all speaking Ukrainian, but you get the point. Anyways, my Great Grandfather being a prideful cossack man, said:

"I bet I *CAN* pick up a horse with a man sitting on it."

So, to the streets they went, to find a horse with a man sitting on it. After several hours (and a shitload of vodka) they finally found a horse with a man sitting on it. My Great Grandfather got under the horse with a man sitting on it, strained with all his might and lifted it off the ground.

Well, as you can imagine, picking up a horse with a man sitting on it is no easy task. That being so, no sooner had my Great Grandfather lifted the horse, then his abdomen burst open and all of his guts shot out.

So, there is the story of how my Great Grandfather died. It wasnt easy to pick up the horse with a man sitting on it and it took everything he had in him (including his digestive track), but he did it!

I think I had a point somewhere, but I forgot what it was.

No offense but I believe they just told your great grandmother he picked the horse up to save him from humiliation.

There is no way on Earth someone could pickup a full size horse with someone on it. You couldn't balance it and the person. Not only that but how would you hold onto it?

No 300 pound man could pick up a horse with a person on it. Even if he did have the strength he wouldn't have the stability as the horse wouldn't just stand there and let him.

Sorry but I simply cannot believe what I can not see or scientificly believe when it comes to this kindof stuff.

  6. Well, its not like the thing was a bloody Clydedale or something!;)

It was just a pony with a man sitting on it.

I've actully seen it done. Not with a man on it, but I saw a guy pick up a horse. You should have seen the look on the horses face when it's feet came off the ground
