Guild Wars

Few things about guild wars:

Its repetaive, (at least the version I played)


However, some of the quests are cool, I had to escpape a zone before it exploded or something along those lines.



However, the best part, is in the title, guild wars. The PvP is awesome, there are tons of different modes, from "keep your npc soilder protected and channeling his spell to win"

To kiilling the opposing teams npc's cleric so they wont revive, to capture the flag.

The PvP is definatly the best part, if CDL was to get into this, it would definalty be closer to matches, ala FPS, I would believe.

 

Hopefully this is better than the last playtest. The servers were way overloaded, and control and camera angle were pretty bad. I defintely have hopes for this one though, as matches style pvp in a mmorpg is much more preferred to zerg battles.

I forget how great the graphics are for this game.


p.s. I believe the E3 test started early also..... Maybe the devs get too anxious

 

I agree with both you and Legendary, something doesn't sound right. AA is one thing, the only reason that's free is probably because the technology has been funded by the US Army, but with something like this it is a little bit different. Even if it doesn't have a monthly fee at the moment, I don't believe it will be long before they start saying they can't run their servers without some earnings.
