Battle net blows goats. That's why when we used to play D2 we always had someone host a game and we'd play.

Me, Schrike, and Budwizzer played it all the time like that and had very few problems. That's the same thing we all do now when we play EE. We just have someone host the game. BattleNet is for people that need to find others to play with. If your in a clan like we all are it's not to hard to find a buddy to host the game so that you can play.

Whats the point of playing for hours and getting uber shit if you cant show it off to people on the battle net and make them jealous?

 

Cause you can show it off to your Buds in an IP game. besides, I was not one of those people that could play the game over, and over again just to get to level 99 or something.

I played it all the way through with one guy. Started another and playes it all the way through 2 more times. Then got the expansion and played it all the way through with another guy.

After playing it from start to finish on all 3 dificulty levels, I realized that there was no need for me to do it again.

 

I only got up to lvl 78 but I had really uber shit

 

I had some cool stuff too.

 

Yeah but you can't prove that yours wasn't haxored

 

I refused to use any hacked items, but I was not above makeing copies and sharing them with my friends.

i used to play D2 way too much the funny thing was that beating the actual game didn't mater as much as how good your equipment was. Man i would spend hours trying to rip people off and when i did i would call my friends and make them jelous hahahaha that was fun.

 

It's not cheating. It's very powerful Magic!!

 

oh you guys were on battlenet where everyone can hack i played on battle.net where they had your character in there data base thing and you couldn't hack, but i heard that recently someone made a hack and a lot of people started using it and items were dissapearing and stuff and they had to split the relms up. Man i can't wait till WOW comes out that is going to be the best MMORPG ever. those of you who haven't read up on the awsome game should go to this link http://pc.ign.com/articles/136/136985p1.html (yes ign) the artical is a bit old but it will do for now.

Trying to figure out if he was sarcastic or not, know you guys work for game deveoper but not sure which....

If you are happy cause we was bashing Diablo cause it was a competitor then cool. If you pissed cause you affiliated with them somehow then doh.

Bottom line with D2. I loved the game, I played it non stop for 6 months, but I got tired of all the B-NET shit and constant huge balance changes so I stopped playing. Didn't buy the expansion. Had a blast while it lasted, just finally got too stressful.
