That's the same thing I was thinking when I read that. Most people I know who are "preppy" just prefer being the, uh, ones who dress well and are popular. Or something. I had a point and lost it somewhere, damn.

Oh well. Although, I'm pretty sure you could shot around here for calling someone preppy, trashy, redneck, etc. to their face.

 

Actually, we don't mind. I no longer dress preppy, or least not since I have started this new career. But I remember back in high school and college, preppy was not a label we dispised.

I do remember being called a freak, by the 'leather' people in high school and college for dressing how I did, but I chalk that up to different tastes for different people. To each, his/her own. But preppy was not a unwelcome label.
