I would like for one of the males in our house to spend some time in another room besides the family room / computer room. And no bright ideas about another computer, two is enough.

You could also suggest Manitou that by the time your Grandson gets old enough to start learning about computers he should have a top of the line system to truly appreciate them..you could teach him about the magical word upgrades

Well .. look at it this way...

Look at the current usage of yer pute's.

Is there ever a time when someone is prevented from using the computer because someone else is already occupying the ones you have?
If so, then another computer might be what's needed to accomodate everyone's needs.

Are your existing computers doing everything you want them to do?
Are you considering an upgrade to them?
If so, is that upgrade going to cost a hefty sum, that could be applied towards the cost of a totally new computer?

If so, then you may want to consider getting the new one as a cost savings measure.

Think about what you use your computer for now... Now... think about what you might want to be using it for in the future....

You have a new Grandbaby coming. You're gonna be taking pictures and movies of him right? Do you want to have the ability to take those pictures and movies and make them into CD's or DVD's that you can send to your extended family? Can you do that on your existing computer(s)?


There's a multitude of other things that I could go into, but I'm not here to sell you a new computer I'm just throwing out Ideas.

I have to say that following through with this is the most courageous thing any young woman in her circumstance can do and I admire Southernrebel for going through with having this baby. We ALL do bad things. It takes the bravest of us all to live up to them and do the right thing in the end. <3

Mani just called me and said his real friends think he should have a new computer. So I think all of his real friends should buy him a computer. HAHA
