It kills me, I used to be exactly like that. I really think I remember the turning point. It was 7:50 am on a Friday morning my freshman year of college. I had an 8 o'clock class and one hell of a hang over. Roll out of bed go to class. Realized it doesn't matter what you look like when you feel like hell Not having showered was a much bigger issue than the jeans I happened to be wearing.

But there is no reason ya need to try to explain life to anyone, thats the fun in life, you get to learn all the stuff yourself, no matter how many times your parents and even friends tell you stuff you just have to learn for yourself. I even have fond memories about some of those not so fun learning experiences.

Anywho, i'm in the real world now Got to get back to work.

She will learn, popularity ends at High school. Sometimes it is a tough lesson to learn.

I was niether popular nor unpopular. I did my work and went home same as Mani. My friends are still the ones from high school and those I have met through work and CDL. True friends who neither care what I wear (ok, we all make fun of each other, but that is what friends do!) or do.

What matters is I or my friends can be counted on when needed and that is all that matters in the long run.

It is sad when all those joksters who get F's and D's and all they care about is popularity and at one point in high school they realise that everyone will be going to college and they will be lucky if they even get into one. Because all they have been concentrating on is getting people to like them. Hopefuly you will learn. You must take advantage of every mistake you have made and will make.

Oh yeah, there is no such thing as "uncle jeff" here or "daddy". Please user the names we know such as Mani or Otto. If you feel like it you can use the smilies to represent them, and tto:. Also, if forementioned "daddy" is in a bad mood you can use . If he is acting like a drill sargent then is fine. Finally if he is headed to Mal's house mal you may refer to him via cause we know an airstrike has been called in.
