    I spoke to CK today. The hospital has said Marsman stopped breathing on his own this morning. He apparently has advanced stage lung cancer. He is on a ventilator. He doesn't have much chance of recovering.

    This is extremely sad and tragic, and I am at a terrible loss for words. I will try and post more later. CK is very distraught as we might imagine he would be - please pray for him and his family.

    This is a sad day.

    I salute you Marsman. You were one great warrior and Dragon Wolf. Honor, valor, and victory to you my friend.

    A turn for the worse. Very sad news. My thoughts are to Marsman and to his family with any inkling of hope.

    Remembered will be the days of -CDL- Marsman.

    Yes my thoughts and prayers go out to Mars and CK and the family. This is indeed tragic news. On one hand my heart is heavy but on the other I can say it was my honor to have known such a man as Mars.

    Sorry to hear this and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. I never got to know him but remember listening to his awesome voice on the AGN shows. Will never forget that voice. He sounded like a very kind person with a great laugh.

    This is indeed very sad news.

    While I never got to fight alongside him, his presence on AGN was part of what kept PS1 interesting to me, which lead in a roundabout way to being here now. It's sudden and tragic, as a loss of anyone diminishes everyone.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. In times like this I like to turn to the words of Richard Bach:

    CK just texted me and updated me on Marsman. He is on hospice care now until he dies. CK is there with him. I asked CK to tell him "Hail and well met" from Manitou. He may not hear him, but who knows.

    I also asked CK to stand watch until he goes. Marsman is a Dragon Wolf to the core and straight from the heart. He was honorable and stalwart, and was my friend. I will miss him dearly.

    Marsman died this morning at 03:26. Crawling Kane stood honor watch until he went.

    I will miss him tremendously.
