Two Words.... Glowing Eyes.

 

waaaaaa? since when were the night elf part of the aliance,when were gnomes announced as playable race, and since when did the orcs ally with the undead? I think your sorce may be faulse, you should go to the blizz's website instead: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wow/
Because if you look at the town hall: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wow/townhall/ the only announced playble races are human, nightelf, dwarf, orc, and tauren. Gnolls are just monsters that you will end up fighting in the game. Also I don't see anything on their site about races being joined to sides.

id really like to be the undead . but if we are going alliance night elf sounds good or paladin

 

Yah, I wouldn't mind dwarf or something, or elf mage maybe. Wayyy to early to say, of course...

Bah the Undead look like crap, they just look like zobies/ghouls. I was hopping they would look more like arthas cuz he is cool.

 

well gnomes were also the machine making race in Warcraft II so I would assume that they would be simmilar to the dwarves. I think only night elf can be druids.

 

On the Alliance side. Taurens can be druids, too.

 

Now thats just messed up. A cow turning into a bear or a crow.

 

gnomes mounts would prolly be something like a donkey, hehe.

Taurens arent on the alliance side auntie.

Aparently the Undead are "Forsaken" and are fighting against the Lich King. So they have a common enemy with the orcs.


Personally I would prefer to be a dwarf, but if we go horde I would be Tauren or troll. Whichever is stronger...hehe

 

I think gnome mounts should be something clockwork or steam powered. Aren't they gadgeteers? Or maybe wild boars.

And I know they aren't alliance side. I was maybe too brief.

Night elves are the only race that can be druids on the alliance side. Taurens can be druids, too, and are horde.

 

And now the world map has been posted. Actually, it looks kinda silly, IMO. Not very realistic landforms, and only three continents.

Blah blah expansion pack blah, methinks.

well yea..i am guessing this is the known world. They either dont like exploring much or the next continent is too far. I dont think you could go off one side and apear on the other. Before war3 we only knew about Lorderon, Azeroth, and Khaz Modan and didnt know about Kalimdor until you played the orcs. Now that I have seen the overall map, it kinda makes me want to play warcraft 2 and warcraft3 again to see how the story goes with the map.

It would be cool if they recreated scenery from some of their short films. Like the throneroom that whats his butt kills his father in.

Well the reason why it is like that is because those are all the places that they have gone to up to warcraft 3. I know that they are having the destroyed orc dimension explore able but I'm not sure if they are having that with the release or in an xpack.

 

I suggest we dont make a division until after beta or even release mainly because of past experiences with planetside. We had a huge group but then some people didnt even buy the game.
