You don't know what racing is Canadian. My grandfather took a corvette off the side of a hill to his death because of speed. My father seriously injured himself flying around on a dirt bike and I have learned that if you are 110mph and those little railroad lights comer on and the basrs start going down... YOU CAN MAKE!!

I too drive like a crazy phrek in my Honda Si, even tryed racing a 2000 Mustang Saleen 281 on the Hardy Toll road, I got my car upto 135mph then realized the Mustang was almost a mile ahead of me then said what about Alexandria and Mama.

Then let off the peddle and slowed down to around 80mph

Dont do it Dragon, if ya do want to get into racing why dont ya try SCCA with your car that legal and alot safer!

plus, it was canadian built, so we actually have governors on our cars.

(btw, nobody buy an olds Alero.... specially from canada. They have a governor that cuts the engine out at 130 kph.)

My father, whom is a volunteer firefighter, was just called out to a priority 1 MVA(multi-vehicular accident).

In other words, he's off to go try to save someone. And it might be somebody I know.

Roughly 10 minutes ago, I saw an ambulance race by lights, sirens, everything(they only use those for DIRE emergencies in my town), and roughly 5 minutes ago, I saw a police cruiser race by doing the exact same thing.

Dragon, don't race your car.
You can have a sweet-ass ride.. but for gods sake, don't race it.

I'd rather not hear news of you making yourself into a nice greasy puddle of blood on the road, and have someone like my father, have to clean it up.

- BUT -
It's not all about the car. It IS about the driver as well. I've had some fast rides, I even had a '70 GMC 3/4 ton p-u w/ a Holley 650 spreadbore carb w/the secondaries wired open on a the 350 big-block.
Oh yea. It was a great sleeper~! I've smoked 'faster cars' and have been beaten as well. And yes, I'm an aggressive driver in my 'il '97 Chev. Cavelier. But that's because I detest traffic and want these 60 mph people in the left lane going to Perkins to get the hell outta my way. I'm not as 'pushy' when I got my son in the car. It's a matter of perspective - how you drive when you drive.
After all, what's a car? If you crash it, it's nothing more than an intracate mess of whirling, flaming metal.
If you don't drive it, you have nothing more than a large ornament to make your drive-way look pretty.

It a racing league for stock cars with very little modifications.

 

My dad and I used to go to the MSRA (Minnesota Street Rod Assocoation).
