Well if you stayed in highly populated areas they couldn't really stop you. Not many cops have a rocket launcher and if you had the power armor you would probably have a few guns as well.

My favorite part of that games intro is when the vault opens and you see that family way then those enclave guys open up on them with some gatlin gun.

 

Oh I just discovered a new toy the Army came out with this year. It's a satilite thingy. What you do is you get into a hummer or other vehicle and give the system your location. Then it has which ever satilite is in your area zoom in on your location so you can see where you are. Your location is displayed by a green indicator and it has the capability to display a friend or foe system.

It's cool because you can zoom in on your position till you can literally see yourself stairing at the monitor from a satilites point of view. My wife gets to play with all the cool toys.
