  1. The people who do the most damage with a fire arm are those trained in their use or experienced in them. Give any FULLY or Semi Automatic weapon to any average person on the street. Give me my 380 ultramag/ 30.06 / any bolt action rifle and I will down more targets than that person would.

Eventualy some nutcase who grew up in the country, around and with fire arms like I have is going to snap. Hes going to take the same skills I have and kill a large number of people. What then? Ban all rifles? Ok, I can do the same with a pistol. Now all Pistols are banned. Bow and Arrow (probably even more dangerous than a hand gun due to the stealth factor) or a crossbow. Ban them now.

On a side subject it seems like we see less people who grew up with these weapons killing people. Its more characteristic to see a loon who has shot a gun maybe twice getting their hands on one and going insane. Like I said above, if I went insane with a bow and arrow I could easily take 10 people out. I guess we should ban them too.

  2. Well... I'm doing my part. I have 2 weapons that are on that list. Ya... I may not NEED them, I have currently have the right to use them, and I will be using them.

And how silly the law can be? Look at California. You can not have a .22 that "Looks" like an AK47. I was looking at one this past weekend at a gun show, and I didn't see anything different than any other .22. Now, what is the difference between that and a 10/22? NONE, its just how it looks.

Well... they say it can shoot alot so semi-autos are BAD... As a matter of fact, I can take a bolt action .22 and hold a group at 5 inches at 50yds, as quick as I can move the bolt action. That is good enough to be lethal. But, they are not wanting to ban them...Yet!!

Also, doing my part to expose my family to firearms. Two weekends ago, I took the family out, and they had a blast. Our daughter, who has never fired a firearm before, picked it up right away. We handed her Migs .22, and she missed with the first shot, then hit the next 5 in a row. And mind you, I had the can out about 25 yds. Now, between our daugther and Migs, they have to figure who gets to shot the rifle. :)

The current AWB may not pass, but I'd bet that after the 2008 election, the Democrates will be pushing a new AWB, and that one will likely pass if they control of Congress and the White House. Add to that, a change in the Supreme Court balance, and it's a slam dunk for more gun control. That's why I'm exposing my kids to proper firearms training now, because by the time they get to be an adult, that option my no longer be available.

    Ground Chuk BANNED

People say we should be more like the UK (which we battled to be free from...imagine that!) who have banned guns. But crime is out of control there.

Here is their latest response to crime.

Something you might want to notice. Kitchen knives are on the list of them somehow controlling, they just haven't got to it yet. But they allude to it in the article.

They have already started making burglaries, and other offences allowed a "warning".

Makes for better statistics I would think.

Basically what will happen is murder will be the only serious crime. All the rest will be a ticketed offense because it is to much of a hassle.

Yea, we should be like them.

Yea, America is really the bad place, with all our guns.

    Think about it.
