You do have the right, as I have the right to post my thoughts.

So let's break this down...In your first post you mentioned a scenario. A happy kid out having a great time with his best friends reenacts a scene from wow and jumps off of a very short building that shouldn't have killed him but landed wrong so he's dead now. His parents decide to sue. Why would they sue for an accident? Especially when the roof was only 8 feet off the ground!

Another possible scenario: A happy kid out having a great time with his best friends reenacts a scene from wow and jumps off of a tall building that would kill any normal human being but he thought he had super powers or that his best friend who was being priest could simply res him at the bottom later. Would you not think there were something mentally wrong with this person that he didn't perceive the dangers of jumping off such a high building or the finality of death in real life? Why would his parents not have him in a mental institution if he can't perceive the danger in jumping off a tall building or walking in front of a moving bus? Why would his parents sue blizzard?

Yet another: A happy kid out having a great time with his friends on top of a building trips on his own shoelace and falls off of a rooftop. Why would his parents sue blizzard for an accident?

Why? If the parents truely believed it was an accident and their son tripped or slid off the roof, why sue? I don't think they believe it was an accident. I think they believe it was intentional and they're blaming Blizzard because their son spent a lot of time playing wow and was emotionally messed up, but playing that much was a symptom of a deeper problem.

I guess I'm really confused about why you took so much offense to my post when I actually gave some thought to the lives of the human beings involved. I apologize if I've been a bit combative in my replies. I was offended by your first post here because I felt you were attacking my thoughts and opinion, which I posted sincerely.

No more drama is allowed in my threads. Everyone has a right to their own opinons - like it or not.

    :D

  3. To the first part of your post. Why do mothers sue McDonalds for their obese children? Because they want someone to blame. Why would they sue blizzard? Because they want someone to blame. And why are you still arguing that point? Didn't we already agree that news usually make things seem worse than it actually is?

And I took offense because you wrote him off as another suicide victim. The way everything was worded made your "opinion" conclusive. To me you basically said, "Oh, he committed suicide because he had a crappy life, good luck to the rest of his family."

No, don't worry about being a bit combative, you just made it sound like I'm the biggest asshole in the world with your posts.

    Anyway, I'm done.

    Edit:
Hamma, you posted while I was writing.
