You had just reminded me that there is a photo of my sister and I as young kids - her dressed as a Clown, me as Batman...in costumes my mother made~!!
I'd post them but -
I terrified to do so,
and
I don't know where those photos are
and
besides...my scanner is broken.

I love what you said here. We blame so many thinds on how our kids act and behave yet we never want to look in the mirror and see our responsibilty in forming their attitudes and behaviors. Although I personally don't celebrate halloween for reasons we won't go into, I will agree with Om that halloween itself is not the cause. It's our responsibility as parents to spend time with our kids and teach them how to act and behave.

 

well i think halloween is fun, but i also see the dangers. i say have fun, go with the kids, get lots of candy, and always check it all out before you let anyone eat anything.
