you don't always have to start in the stone age ...
you can start in any of 14 ages...

 

Arg's got a point. Hamma always makes us start in the Bronze age.

 

my coworkers says he likes to play in just one age from time to time, just sets the starting and ending age to the same thing

 

I don't mind starting in the Bronze age since it is the first age all of the basic buildings are available to you. I do not like to start any later then that becuase you put your self at a disadvantage.

As the game goes on buildings become more expensive. You need to have established town centers and mining opperations set up before you get to far.

If you start out and a building that cost you $50 to produce in one age, now costs you $100 it will take you a lot longer to get you infrastructure in place.

 

Ok...I've been playing this game for a month now. Still trying to figure out what does what. Sure would be nice if some of my -CDL- brothers would let me in on what names they use and when they play. I'm usually on from 8 pm (est) 'til 11:00 p.m. (est). Once again...ppl wanna leave the drunkard outta the fun and games. BTW...I'm usually in the North American East chat room. I could really use some tutoring...so we can move in to some competition.

I knew you played, but I never see you on ICQ, or anything to invite you to come play. All you have to do to find us is go to IRC, or hop on RW.

We never play in there internet thing, we just have one of us host and join by IP.
