    I just gave Nick a pickle about 20 minutes ago. He's been sitting there, sucking on the pickle, and giggling like a madman as though that pickle is the greatest thing on the planet.

    My friend talked me into going to a gallery with him today and he said it was to promote his drawings, but he told me to bring some of my sculpture with me just in case.

    ...then when the gallery owner was there, he said we are here to show you some of Kim's sculpture. omg, what a liar!!!


    So, very much on the spot, I showed my sculpture and the very respected gallery, which features artists I am completely in awe of, would like to host a show of my work.

    My little girl, you know her as Angelcake, was chosen as the one artist to represent Martin GT Magnet Middle School in the Wake County Gifts of Gold show for a sculpture she made of a jaguar. I have never seen this sculpture until the night of the show on exhibition. It's gorgeous! I'm so proud of her!

    I got my very first baby kiss from Nick today. I kissed his cheek, then he leaned to me and sucked on my cheek a bit and sat back and giggled. Then I kissed his cheek again, and he did it again to me. Talk about heart melting!
