    Yea its pretty big.

Played a bit - its ok - so far nothing to extreme to make me go "omg!" :p

  2. Agreed. Nothing spectacular but not bad at all. I played the entire tutorial and the limited single player demo. It's pretty short and very limited on what you can construct, but still pretty cool. I do like the cinematic screen you can switch to from the traditional top down RTS view.
Graphics were good - not great but good. Control and gameplay are pretty typical of any of the RTS's. Really need to see the entire game to get a decent evaluation but the little taste the demo gives is enough to keep you interested.
Overall, I'd give this 3-4 stars out of 5 :D

While ground battles seemed rather "standard" I found conflict in space to be rather unique. It took from the space RTS genre, such as targeting parts of the large ships, and applied it to ground RTS mechanics such as an overhead camera and "terrain" that blocks or alters units. However, what I think is going to be this games greatest feature is not so much how battles are fought, but more so on the economics involved. Instead of throwing five peons to gather gold from the mine, players are going to have to carefully plan on what planets they take and invade. As has been stated by Marsman, the demo is relatively limited, and so I am saving my final judgment until the game is released.

  4. The demo certainly pays good homage to SWGB from so many years ago...

  5. Multiplayer...... DAMNIT, Tell me about Multiplayer.... Can two or three people COOP against one or more computer oponents? Or is it strictly PVP?

    :D

The galactic conquest is only 1v1, but skirmish mode will allow multiple people to play.

  7. I like it. It puts a slight new twist on RTS games without going overboard. I think it is neat how you have to form a fleet before the actual battle. If your fleet isn't the right balance to perform the task, you lose. Plus, I like how you don't have to start from scratch on every map.

However, from what I have read, multiplayer will be similar to Starcraft, C&C, Warcraft, etc... Which is probably the best way to do multiplayer RTS games.

I do not think so, which is why I am waiting for some reviews of the game to come out before I buy it.

  14. Good call :)

My brother-in-law has it. Seems like a fun RTS -- space battles can be quite challenging, and the Rise of Nations-esque Galactic Conquest game is a good fit for a Star Wars RTS. It seems a little weak in the multiplayer department, but the single-player component is quite fun.
