    you can ave the pants i am wearing because in think i just ruined them....

    aaaanyway.. I dl'ed installed crack and tried to start a game. It froze right away :( i will tweak with the settings and see if i can get it to run, but maybe i will just wait until fp anouces the beta today

    Yea - I gave it a try a bit ago now it wants a beta key to download so I suspect the DL will be starting soon.

    From what I have read the beta is indeed beta- changing video settings tends to cause problems :eek:

    i turned off a few things and was able to run a skirmish in sandbox mode to play with the upgrades and see whats up... COOL! I would like to be able to play against someone and see what they can do too.. although I dont really want to fight yet.

    The economy system is a HUGE part of this game.. if you dont manage well you will run out of some resources and then everything shuts down :O

    Earlier today, 8-10ish AM PST, Fileplanet put up the closed beta client without adding the CD-Key checking portion. So if you checked then, you could have downloaded the client.

    Well upon playing for a few hours I find the game clunky and hard to manage, I also feel like everything is to tiny - like I am managing a bunch of micro-machines.

    Not a good successor to TA imho
