i am most likely not getting the expansion pack because i don't think i have ever heard of a good Xpack for a fps i mean T2 has a really small amount of people playing the only reason i can think they are doing an Xpack is to get more people to start playing again. After being screwed when they took away the dev team i wouldn't be to surprised if the same thing happend again.

 

You people need to wake up, and smell the coffe. What did the Dev team do for us? They released a horrible screwed up game, and then they continued to fuck it up in every single patch they released.

Is it any wonder they got fired?

T2 in it's current state is the most playable version of the game to date. How did we get the last patch that made the game for the most part stable? Well Serria held the best of the Dev team hostage, and told them if they didn't release a good patch they would not get any severance pay after Dynamix was closed.

I used to cry for the Dev team, and blame Serria for all the problems with T2, but let's face it...........If you ran a bussiness, and gave a team of people 2 years to do something, they ran over budget, and ran way late on the project, and when they did deliver, they gave you a pile of shit that not only didn't make you a dime, but cost you loyal customers, what would you do?

You'd fire them all, and do what you could to regain some of those customers.

Exactly why I don't want the fuking with the game now. I mean with all its problem, people have been playing it this way for a year, hey, lets fuck with the balance that everyone is used to...great idea

Anywho, i'll probably bye the damn thing just so I can keep pubbing with you guys on occasion.

 

They only thing they are do to game play is fixing the disk luancher, and nerfing the elf some.

I don't see why your so concerned over a game you don't even play.

I just don't want to see the community that is already in trouble fall into oblivion. Who know, maybe they'll do a really bang up job :/

 

i think they just want us to pay for the patch.

 

The patch will be free weather you buy the Expansion or not.

All the Expansion is, is a re-release of Tribes 2 with all the patches rolled up into one disk. That's why you get a rebate if you already own Tribes 2.

There will be something extra on the Disk like a Mod with new vechiles or something. That's what the other $20 will be for.

Maybe you guys missed the part where I mentioned they fired all the people who messed up Tribes.

This is new people so we have to give them the benifit of the doubt.

 

I belive that those people that were fired were then hired by the place that is doing the Xpack.....
