I hear Dane huurahing the fact the dev team got fired and all that. Whining that the T2 patch thing got messed up everytime and all that. Saying that the dev team messed up and they should have been fired.

I hear ya, but there should be some blame on Sierra. Yeah the game went overbudget and was late, but I know quite a few AAA titles that were like that. Ones that turned out to be cool and mostly bug free once it was released and sometimes after one patch. Look how late Diablo 2 was...I hate that game though, click click click - yeah what fun...

Anyways, doesn't anyone realize the team to work on 'The Patch' is actually quite a few of the original dev team. I learned this on at a fairly recent game conference that I was fortunate to attend and have drinks with Dane, Pump, Auntie, and Racewiz. Boosha!!!

Anyways. I think the dev team did a decent job with T2, yeah, it should have been better, but that isn't just their fault.

Just my two cents.

By fixing the disk launcher I mean that it will shoot straight again.

Don't get me wrong PV, I am not knocking the Dev team as a whole. I am knocking the ones that argued about game play issues, and balence issues instead of fixing the real problems the game had.

I think it's great that the ones who have done a good job will be working on it again, and the ones who didn't are gone.

 

The Xpack doesn't sound that good.

 

Fuck all of that, if they re-released T2 as T1 then I might buy it. T1 is way better then T2 as far as I'm concernec. I may be but trust me I feel the same no matter what.

 

the one sole thing that will make or break the game is whether or not the original programmers(all of whom are at garage games iirc) are working on it. Think that when they left the messing with the game and not fixing problems crap started. I know that they left before the map nerfing
