    Basically I'm asking you to come up because I need someone sane to talk to during the dinner. 15 or so Italians get together for a meal and half the time I don't know what they're talking about. The other half? I'm holding my ears because Italians have this tendancy to try to 'out-shout' people they're having a conversation with.

    Not to mention it's been well over a year since I last saw ya.

    In my family I have found that its a matter of no-body listening. In the movie "While You Were Sleeping", Check out the dinner scene. That's typical (al biet a little subdued)

    *laughs* growing up one of my best friends in highschool came from an italian family, and i used to spend alot of time going to family dinners with her, never have i had better food or conversation or generally just an awsome feeling of family!!!! :) i love the constant table talking. i guess growing up in a house hold that i cant ever remember eating at the dinner table together with might have something to do with it :)

    The drive is pretty straight forward Test. Just get to the Thruway and head...well, North. Exit 25. Head towards Western Ave. Take a Left off of Western and go down to Russell. Turn right and it's just about a mile or so down the road.

    The couple of times I've driven to Jersey and Long Island we did it in about 2.5 to 3 hours. And we've got an extra bedroom here if you want to stay the night. Then I can sample your breakfasts that TB raves about sooo much.

    my wallet is pretty tight these days...and the fact that i have my baby girl lizzie...i can't leave her here alone all day :( im afraid she is just as neurotic as I am...thank you so much for the offer tho...if I was sure that lizzie would be okay I would defintley make it work cash wise...

    hey pump :) recipe for ya :)

    red potatoes cut into chunks, boiled till fork splits them
    drain water
    ad butter
    garlic salt
    italian seasonings
    pepper


    i just eyeball the seasonings ;) till it looks like its enough, and a few taste tests but mmm.. really good, my kids LOVE this ;)

    really good served with steak, or i have a good chicken cutlets (that is the name of it.. not sure why, its pounded flat chicken, breaded and fried... really good *wiggles eyebrows*)
