Base was ok, but I liked IX better. All the other mods were silly.

 

That's not right. The other mods were fun. They just weren't balanced like IX was. Base was awsome and had a lot of really great players where as IX only had a small selection of truely talented players.

 

There were a lot of really talented players in IX, just not as many as there were in base.

 

In IX you may have 2 or 3 really good players ona server where as in Base you had a server full. Really steps up the quality of game play. When it came to raw skills base was the way to go. When it came to organazation and balance IX owned all.

 

I don't know what server you played on, but there were always more then 3 or 4 good players on a server.

 

I played "Inet" the Gamemongers when they existed (Anyone remember those servers?), Ragingangels/ATL server, DUH server,

Those were my main servers. IND was good but not the best.

 

Inet, "Beer Server", Bestweb, Gamemonger, Necrobones all of them servers were fun.

 

I remember seeing "Necrobones" but never really played it.

 

Necrobones had a lot of "Funky Maps" that weren't on other servers. There was one that was really fun called "Black Hole" we used to go there to play.
