    You know what... I've booked some vacation time around there... Just could be that Black and I would be able to make it a nice weekender trip! It's a relatively short drive down to your neck of the woods (7 hrs thereabouts).

    I'd be cool considering we wouldn't be able to make it to this years Rally..

    Back in the day when Primus first started playing clubs (they are from the Bay Area) the people who saw them live either loved them, or hated them.

    I, like many others hated them with a passion, and on the occasion we were forced to see them open for another band we used to enjoy throwing things at them and chanting "Primus Sucks!".

    In an effort to shut us up, Les Claypool started opening his shows by walking out on stage and announcing "Hi. We're Primus, and we suck."

    After he started doing that when people would chant "Primus Sucks" he would smile and say "Thank You". Then the people that liked Primus took up the chant and it became their little fan chant, and effectivly shut up the rest of us that hated them.

    After that we all used to yell "You should have stayed Possesed!" which was a reference to their gutiar player having formerly been with the speed metal band Possesed. It didn't have the same effect as the origonal "Primus Sucks" chants by the people that hated the band, but it did on one occasion cause him to miss a few cords, and that was good enough for us.
