Nobody will. There will be a war to follow. These people will be punished whatever it takes. At least they better be

  3. This situation is abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous.

Shocking, breathtaking, whatever you use to describe it...it's unbelieveable.

What I wouldn't give to hear from Mani right now, his thoughts and what is going on behind the scenes(at least as much as he could say.)

The shit, my friends, has hit the fan.

  4. After watching the videos of it, all i can say is, holy shit.

    That was disturbing.

  7. I heard about this, like Fox, when I was in school, one of my classmates came bursting through the door telling us to turn on one of the radios around 9:00 or so this morning. We turned it on and at first I never knew exactly what happened, I mean I grasped the fact that there had been a plane crash into a building. I didn't at first know the magnitude of the damage that had been caused. Once the second plane hit the reporters were talking about the world trade center.

Once I realized that it was in fact 2 commercial airliners that crashed into the two buildings I was shocked. I'm 16 years old born in 84. I wasn't around for Pearl Harbor, and I wasn't around for the assassination of jfk, this is a serious mark of history, and as history has shown I don't doubt that we will in fact find who did this and we will in fact find them and with out a doubt kill them. I know it's not right, I know that the attack was not right.

I fear for my life as I think to the future, not just about what could happen to me from an attack of an outside force, but what could happen to me as a resault of the future actions us[United States of America]. I think yes that you can't let anything like this just pass like nothing happened. I'm not a pacifist in any sense of the term, but, I do prefer to keep the force used to a minimum.

What I see happening is not what get's depicted in the movies, not what most people that have lived under the influence of the media come to believe, as in, everything will play out, we will find the people responsible and we will kill them just as they were responsable for the casualties that resaulted today. I can't object to this but I can object in the manner in which it's done. It will be carried out swiftly and vengefully(as I strongly wish it weren't) but the lives that will perish on our quest for blood will not be solely that of the guilty party, but the lives of men, women, and children the same as those taken today. It will not stop there either, it will continue to take more american lives simply to get to those responsable. I'm divided in a philosophical debate with myself about when is it enough? Are we going to send more men and women to their deaths over this issue to satisfy the American populace; and later after more loss of life say that their lives were justly sacrificed? Will we have really attained our goal, is there any real way to know the guilty party and kill them off[sounds harsh I know but it's the reality] with out having other innocence on our hands? Will we in our quest for blood do unto others what was done unto us today? When is it enough...

Personally as I said earlier I prefer alternatives to fighting. I don't think this should go unpunished but at the same time I don't think that it's not going to happen again, I'd rather be working on our defenses than increasing our offensive presence, just cause we'll kill the guys responsable for this doesn't mean that it's over. I especially don't want to get drafted into the army and be sent to my death over this incident in which we want to prevent the loss of American lives. I don't want this to develop in a way which would increase our loss in the long run. Many people have noticed the similarities of this to Pearl Harbor, but this is a war against some terrorists not a country. I personally Don't want to charge into war. Military technology has increased considerably since when we faught in WW2, I personally don't want to live through the result of that progression. I would rather live through the result of a defence against that progression but clearly that has not and will not be the case.

My condolences to those that experianced this and or have fallen victim to it :(. My one true hope is that I will not need to repeat the previous line in the near future...

  8. Hamma, that is seriously fucked up, where or how did you find that?

Respond with a vengense. It will cost lives, but its a small price to pay for our freedom and democrosy. I know it sounds harsh but they have gone too long unpunished.. btw.. afganistan has been housing these assholes for years and its due time for them to pay.

    Damn straight.

  13. I second that motion, i'm gonna go take out some frustration online.

  14. Friends of CDL, today we witnessed deplorable events. We have voiced our rage in these forums and our need for vengeance. Yet, as I read mij's post, sanity returned and I must say that I too fear the ramifications of future actions outside your or my control. I watched too as palestinians on the East bank celebrated and danced in the streets. I saw children 7 and 8 years old in a country I have never been too celebrate the death of our innocent men, women, and children. Hatred and rage burned inside me and I wanted nothing less than their total destruction. Alas, now I realize that more than likely, innocent children and women in some country will undoubtably pay their lives for that rage we all are feeling. May vengeance be ours, but what will be the cost? Will we completely erradicate all threats of terrorism? Will we still be subject to future acts? God be with us all, not just in America, but the World. I can't help but think of the movie called the Seventh Sign. Could this be on of them?

There is no perfect course of action here. I fear for the lives and lifestyle changes of my children most of all.

This act today was genocide. They are eradicating Americans. There must be retaliation and it must be swift and just.

What kind of monsters teach their children to laugh, cheer and dance about the murders of innocent men, women and children? And these children will grow up with this hate ingrained in them to become what?

These people used our commercial planes as missiles. Missiles loaded with innocent men, women and children, aimed at innocent men, women and children. Now they dance.

This is not Pearl Harbor, an attack on a military base by an enemy with the guts to show it's face. This is much more sinister.
