1. More like...

Bend over Palestine. You're going to be receiving a rather "nice" gift in the not-so-distant future.

Who here wants to bet that Bush has already mobilized several Nuclear Attack subs to the coast closest to Palestine?

"Raises hand"

By the way Mani..

Tactical Nukes and battlefield nukes. :p

Mani, so good to see a post signed by you. :)

3. Until we tighten up our immigration and visitation laws, maybe ask 'Middle-Eastern' looking single males for a thumbprint (gasp! hoards of ACLU lawyers decend in a plague...) , or something, anything to screen a little better, then we can can continue to expect more of the same. Geez, did no one learn from the 1st attempt? Time to tighten up our borders and policys...

45 We could and somewhat should do somthing of that nature.. But that would begin to disrupt that which makes us what we are. In response to that Nostradamus d00d (sp?) that crap is some scary bs... but it only happens because people read it and duplicate it.

Another probably coincedence that K-sera told me about is pretty freaky. The flight numbers from the attacks.

11 - The date of the attack
93 (9+3=12) - Wednesday
175 (1+7+5=13) - Thursday
77 (7+7=14) - Friday

Thats some odd shizot.

Anyhow, Mani.. good to see a post from you :D Keep in touch.. Mani = win

Also Here is a good quote..

6. Leonard Pitts - Miami Herald
We'll go forward from this moment
It's my job to have something to say.
They pay me to provide words that help make sense of that which troubles the American soul. But in this moment of airless shock when hot tears sting disbelieving eyes, the only thing I can find to say, the only words that seem to fit, must be addressed to the unknown author of this suffering.

You monster. You beast. You unspeakable bastard.

What lesson did you hope to teach us by your coward's attack on our World Trade Center, our Pentagon, us? What was it you hoped we would learn? Whatever it was, please know that you failed.

Did you want us to respect your cause? You just damned your cause.

Did you want to make us fear? You just steeled our resolve.

Did you want to tear us apart? You just brought us together.

Let me tell you about my people. We are a vast and quarrelsome family, a family rent by racial, social, political and class division, but a family nonetheless. We're frivolous, yes, capable of expending tremendous emotional energy on pop cultural minutiae -- a singer's revealing dress, a ball team's misfortune, a cartoon mouse. We're wealthy, too, spoiled by the ready availability of trinkets and material goods, and maybe because of that, we walk through life with a certain sense of blithe entitlement. We are fundamentally decent, though -- peace-loving and compassionate. We struggle to know the right thing and to do it. And we are, the overwhelming majority of us, people of faith, believers in a just and loving God.

Some people -- you, perhaps -- think that any or all of this makes us weak. You're mistaken. We are not weak. Indeed, we are strong in ways that cannot be measured by arsenals.

IN PAIN

Yes, we're in pain now. We are in mourning and we are in shock. We're still grappling with the unreality of the awful thing you did, still working to make ourselves understand that this isn't a special effect from some Hollywood blockbuster, isn't the plot development from a Tom Clancy novel. Both in terms of the awful scope of their ambition and the probable final death toll, your attacks are likely to go down as the worst acts of terrorism in the history of the United States and, probably, the history of the world. You've bloodied us as we have never been bloodied before.

But there's a gulf of difference between making us bloody and making us fall. This is the lesson Japan was taught to its bitter sorrow the last time anyone hit us this hard, the last time anyone brought us such abrupt and monumental pain. When roused, we are righteous in our outrage, terrible in our force. When provoked by this level of barbarism, we will bear any suffering, pay any cost, go to any length, in the pursuit of justice.

I tell you this without fear of contradiction. I know my people, as you, I think, do not. What I know reassures me. It also causes me to tremble with dread of the future.

In the days to come, there will be recrimination and accusation, fingers pointing to determine whose failure allowed this to happen and what can be done to prevent it from happening again. There will be heightened security, misguided talk of revoking basic freedoms. We'll go forward from this moment sobered, chastened, sad. But determined, too. Unimaginably determined.

THE STEEL IN US

You see, the steel in us is not always readily apparent. That aspect of our character is seldom understood by people who don't know us well. On this day, the family's bickering is put on hold.

As Americans we will weep, as Americans we will mourn, and as Americans, we will rise in defense of all that we cherish.

So I ask again: What was it you hoped to teach us? It occurs to me that maybe you just wanted us to know the depths of your hatred. If that's the case, consider the message received. And take this message in exchange: You don't know my people. You don't know what we're capable of. You don't know what you just started.

But you're about to learn.

This could be the Nostradamus quote Despo was refering to. It's very spooky. Nostradamus predicted many things and was not to vauge in his predictions. The two that I have always found the weirdest were the fact that he predicted Hitler almost by name (calling him Hisler), and that he predicted that his grave would be robbed, and when it was the robbers found burried with him a plaque bearring the exact month and year that the robbery was taking place.

If this is in fact a true quote from Nosterdamus it is by far the creepest thing I have ever read. I think I will buy a book about him sometime today.

He said this will be bigger than the previous two.
2001 is the first year of the new century and this is the 9th
month.
New York is located at the 41st degree Latitude.

9. If you guys remember... the second plane (and the forst tower to fall...) hit the building at a 45deg angle....

That is just too freaky...

Args...

10. hmm

this is some seriously freaky stuff.

11. Nostradamus....Bah

Why is it every time something bad happens, that old Nostradamus B.S. gets trotted out?
If all he has said is so easily understood by seemingly so many people
WHY THE F_CK ARENT YOU WARNING US?

Seems you can make his predictions appear so that they apply to damn near anything that happens, just as some people can quote a Bible verse for any occasion.

I truly despise the nonsense myself.

'The end of the world is coming!'

Yea, on an individual basis, for all of us, eventually!

Doh!

I think the reason he isn't taken more seriously is that most of predictions are of France winning WW3 and taking over the world, and we know that will never happen!!

lol Dane. This prediction stuff is some scary shit, but I think allot of it has been taken out of context.. bust out a book so we can see if its actually a true predection.

14. eh, I like one description I read about all the Nostradamus stuff:

Its like the infinite monkey situation:

You get an infinite number of monkeys and and infinite number of typewriters, one of the monkeys is gonna bang out the complete works of Shakespeare.

Like Nostrodomus: You write enough crap down in a vauge and generalized way, given enough time, people will find a way to make situations fit the prophecies.

Anyway, I think its interesting on a purly "wow that weird" kinda level, not a "oh my god, he knew it was going to happen" level. If the dude knew anything was going to happen, he would have just said it.

:twak:

I don't give too much credit to a drunk Frenchman that lived in the 1500's but it is interesting.

19. It's me again!

Hello once again brothers of the CDL. Some of you will remember me, for those of you who don't, my name is FaithStrike. I am an former member of CDL. It has been many months since I last visitd these forums. It is good to be back.

I'm here today to share my feelings on the tragedy that has occured in our country. I can't believe what has happened this week. It's so horrible. But I know one thing, this country will survive. We will overcome and we will be united once again. It's a shame that it takes something like this to bring our country together. Maybe this will be a turning point for us. I just hope for the ones who are responsible, that they make peace with their maker. This may be their last chance for salvation.

I know in my mind Hell is too good for these people. But that's not God's will. It is His will that we all spend eternity with Him. But it is still our choice. These people will die because of what they have done, it is the only human punishment they deserve. But what of their souls? We need to pray that they receive one more chance before we retaliate against them. I know this is hard, but we as children of God must. If we allow ourselves to be angry and vengeful, then they have won. We can't allow this to happen.

These actions are no more than attacks on our beliefs. They attacked our freedom. Why did they do this? Just as Osama bin Laden has said himself, this is a holy war. This is not about money and power, this is about God. We as Americans are hated because of what we stand for, what we were founded on, Christianity. This is not some political dispute, this is spiritual warfare. I stand here today as a proud man. I'm proud to be an American and I'm proud to say that I am a Christian. These are things that I am willing to die for. I know that this country has had it's ups and downs, especially recently, but it is still the greatest country in the world. As for God, He has always been here with me. He has never left me nor forsaken me. There have been times where I have turned my back on Him, but He was still there. He never stopped loving me and He has always taken care of me.

It is now time that we allow God to take of this country. It is His anyway, He created it. We need to have faith in Him now maore than ever. Please join me in this fight. Now just take a few minutes to pray for those who need salvation, also pray for those who have volunteered to help in NY and DC. Also pray for the families that have lost loved ones, and for those who are still waiting for answers. Pray that they all may have a peace that passes all understanding. The kind of peace that only God can give.

AMEN

Remember one thing......

Keep the FAITH,STRIKE with Truth!

Personally, patriotism and faith in our nation will get us through this.. they call it a holy war.. its not a holy war for us. (I am not even .5% religious though heh) Anywho,
