Vanguard: SOH -- Mani, Get to work!!

yeah, welcome of the future of mmorpgs =(

 

It doesn't look bad, not exactly next gen graphics, but crazy enough lighting effects and bump mapping that my computer will turn into a fire disaster, plus the creator of it was also involved in creating SWG, so you know there will be a LOT of things to do in this game besides grinding for levels.

The problem with Vanguard is that it was announced way back in 2004, and since then technology switched in 2005 to the next version. I know this can be quite an issue because engines every 5 years or so change to something better, but developers really should take notice of that.

There's also player built housing like in SWG, so there will probably be player built cities eventually. Plus custom ships(from the videos, they're huge) for travelling the sea.
